10 Plus Size Lightweight Jackets You Need for Spring

Today’s post will be all about Plus Size Lightweight Jackets.

Spring is *almost* here! Its finally time to put away your puffers and get out your lighter jackets and coats.

My favorite go-to plus size lightweight jacket is a denim jacket. I especially love one that is cropped so you don’t loose shape of your base outfit (like a cinched waisted dress!) Mine is from Eloquii a couple years ago but I linked a very similar (and cheaper!) option from Old Navy. Sometimes I do go for a more classic fitting denim jacket and I love this one from Ava and Viv at Target (I wear the 2x).

This year I’m loving the look of a trench coat! I got mine from Lands’ End and find that it fits very true to size – I’m in the 2x. I love the tie waist gives your look a great shape. I also linked this navy option from J.Crew if you like the addition of visible buttons.

For another plus size lightweight layer, go for a sweater blazer! Personally, I don’t wear blazers often but I love this sweater blazer for a cozy layer. I do want to note that it does fit quite boxy but I still really like it.

For a casual or athleisure outfit, go for a fleece zip up option! I love this teal one from Old Navy.

Another look I’m loving this year is shackets. Personally, I like the look of a thinner option like this one from Old Navy. It comes in some fun colors too! I also found a great option from Good American.

Lastly, you need a rain coat! I have one from years ago from J.Crew and still wear it every spring and fall. I linked a similar option from J.Crew and a really nice looking black option from Barbour.
