I’ve always been someone that has a lot on my plate. These days I’d say I actually have less going on (thanks 2020), but still many different things that need my attention. I run two businesses, this blog, my youtube channel, a few social accounts, besides the normal life maintenance things like meal planning, daily movement, errands, laundry, and cleaning. I also make it a big priority to make time for creative hobbies and general rest and relaxation.
The only way I’m able to fit all of this in is because I really prioritize organization. Max sometimes makes fun of me because I am constantly talking about planning out my day, but truly it’s the only thing that keeps my day, and therefore, life balanced.
Today, I’m sharing the 5 apps that help me keep my life organized! All of these apps sync with my phone – which is a non-negotiable for me!
I use this to plan out anything that has a time associated with it. I put all my shoots and weddings on it. I put personal appointments, social invitations, and vacations. I also use this for my content calendar.

2. Google Tasks
I use this to make quick to-do lists that I can have open next to my google calendar. I give some tasks a reference date but some tasks I just keep in the “no date” section when I just need to remember them but they aren’t urgent or important.

3. Plan to Eat
I’ve talked on instagram stories about this before but this app is GAME changing for meal planning. This app allows you to upload recipes via URL or manually and assign them for future dates in a calendar view. I normally just pick 3-5 dinners per week. Then, it makes a grocery list for you! It’s so helpful and makes meal planning so much quicker.
Cost: $4.95/monthly or $39/yearly (what I do!)
4. The Notes App
I love using the built in notes app on my phone and computer for brain dumps or longer term lists. I have a master payment schedule for all our yearly bills, my 2021 goals, a master house to do list. Basically anything I want to be able to reference quickly and update!
Cost: Free!
It’s no secret but Max and I are big Dave Ramsey fans but even if you’re not, I would really recommend the Everydollar App. It’s a budgeting app where you put in your income and then create a monthly budget for every single dollar. I check our budget every few days so I can make sure we are on track.
Cost: The app is free but for the premium version its $120 a year (comes with Financial Peace University if you want to take that, too!) | Download Here
I hope this helps you get a little more organized so you can have a bit more time in your day! Thanks again for reading!
